Turns out his Illinois firearm owner's ID (FOID) card has been rescinded, so technically his 11 guns cannot be returned to him. He wants them given to his son, who is a police officer, until his FOID is renewed. The whole FOID process in the state of Illinois is a big joke anyway. It only costs $5 to get and it's pretty much pointless.

    It gets worse

He was on Fox News again last night. The house is in his wife's name and he claims he has no idea where she is. I don't buy that for even a moment. He knows full well where she is. Why they don't have enough to arrest him is something I don't understand.

    _____
BOLINGBROOK, Ill. — Jobless and with no prospects, Drew Peterson spends his days taking care of his four children: cooking meals, washing clothes, helping with homework. All the while, he does so knowing that most of the world believes he killed his last two wives.

Nearly five months have passed since Stacy Peterson vanished from the couple's home in this Chicago suburb. Peterson is a suspect in her disappearance, and authorities are also trying to determine if he had any role in the 2004 death of his ex-wife.

He's a celebrity now, he said, in the same way Scott Peterson was before his arrest in the death of his pregnant wife, Laci, and the way people still wonder about O.J. Simpson. Peterson said he wants to move.

"I've got to get away from this environment and the kids (have) got to get away from this environment," he said. The problem is that the house is in his wife's name. To sell it, he needs his wife's signature or a court order. So he stays.

The 54-year-old former police officer knows that he could be locked up any time; he's arranged for relatives to take care of the children if he is arrested.

    THERE IS A GOD.

    --------

Last night I was surfing and saw that Nancy Grace had on DP's PUBLICIST.

When the publicist asked about the photos that he released showing DP and his kids he asked her about the blurring of the kid's faces.

She did the nasal flaring indignation thing and stated that "on this program we blur the faces of children under 18 to protect them!"

This coming from the pimp that prostitutes her spawn on her program.

Is he related to Scott somewhere down the line?
You know in light of the fact that they now say that Obama is related to Brad Pitt (somewhere along the line) and Hillary is related to Angelina Jolie (somewhere along the line) the Peterson/Peterson thing could actually not be a long shot. Now that would be a really sinister gene pool.

I cringe at the sight of Nancy Grace. Everytime she appears while
channel flipping I think of the SNL take-off on her. Very funny.

I like the nose flaring and pen pointing and her anger when she asks a stupid question that isn't answered the way she wants it answered.

Or better yet...Her forensic questions. (Special Guest Coroner sharing he screen with her....)

"Doctor, isn't it true a body starts to decompose the minute you die?'

"What does the skin on a body do when it's left in the water for an extended perior of time?"

    -------------------

The funniest thing about her is her accepting the ackowledgement from her fans as being the only woman anchor in the history of TV to have preemie twins.

"Let's go to Doris from TwoTramp City..."

"Nancy, I love your show and you are still beautiful and congratulations on your wonderful children."

Then she lowers her eyes in that false sense of humility, smiles and give that moronic, gee whiz THANK YOU!

I saw it! What a piece of work. I was amazed, when answering one of the questions, he used a phrase similar to "sweeping it under the rug" but he used the phrase "washing it under the blanket." I couldn't help but wonder if that was a slip and Staci is in a body of water under a blanket. It was just an off the wall phrase to me - - never heard it before.

Did you realize that his daughter's name is Lacey?

I had heard something about that.

I laughed at his insistence that the world hates Drew and women throw themselves at him.

I wanted to kick the TV when he insinuated that Stacey was always looking for a man's attention...This guy is the worst excuse for a man that ever ex
    existed.

    ------------------------

You could tell that he was coached to look into the camera to make himself look more like a victim.I also loved the little hand signals his handler gave him
    after LK asked a question.

    Check this out.

He insisted that she left and that the people looking for her would never find the body because she was alive and was "dancing".

Even the Run-Away-Bride called home after a few days.

He probably had one of the scumbags that he met thru work kill her and then he killed the scumbag afterwards.

Richard, were you wishing Nancy Grace was on the panel? Lisa Bloom, Gloria Alred's daughter (whom I know you dislike) made some good points as did the other attorneys. Even the animated female attorney got in some good points. I forget her name but honestly I have never seen anyone with such exaggerated expressions in the area of her mouth. Every time she is on TV I am mesmerized by the contortions she makes with her mouth. Even if I tried I could not make them.

Back to the subject at hand.... Drew's answer to everyone who suspects him is that they have *emotional problems.* Everyone is unstable except him I guess. I hope they are making progress in this case. I would like nothing more than to see him charged and locked up.

THis is the only case that I agree with "The Face Grace". The animated attorney cracks me up...and the way she yells when she talks. It's as if she's scolding us everytime we tune in!

I want to see DP cry like a biatch when they charge him and finally find him guilty.

He reminds me of a freaking mole. He does have a face for law enforcement.

    ---------

Oh, and the other thing that really ticked me off was the line about the older children being "bored". Of course, he's probably poisoned them to hate her for
'leaving'. I can see him saying something like, "See? Your stepmom was a flooze and didn't want to stay here with you and poor me!"

    Effing AH.

    UGH!

CHICAGO — Former police Sgt. Drew Peterson recently accused his next-door neighbor of "detaining" his young son, according to a report.

Peterson said Sharon Bychowski, his neighbor and best friend of his missing wife, Stacy Peterson, took a photo of his son Anthony on Sunday afternoon.

Bychowski said Anthony rode his bicycle onto her driveway to visit with Stacy's sister, Cassandra Cales.

"It was ridiculous," Bychowski told the Herald News. "We took a picture of him and his Auntie Cassandra."

Peterson is a suspect in his wife's October disappearance. He denies any wrongdoing and has not been charged.

"They had my 4-year-old, Anthony, surrounded in Sharon's driveway, taking his picture," Peterson told the Herald News.

Joel Brodsky, Peterson's attorney, claims Bychowski and her son, Roy Taylor, threatened Peterson through Internet postings. Bychowski said Peterson has a garage-door opener she had given Stacy.

Brodsky said the photo could be grounds for a felony charge.

"If they cornered the child, as Drew said, that would be (a felony crime of) unlawful restraint," Brodsky told the Herald News.

The Bolingbrook Police Department referred the matter to the state's attorney's office.

"In the photo, he [Anthony] doesn't appear he's being held against his will," Lt. Ken Teppel of the Bolingbrook Police Department told the Herald News. "They both have their arms around each other and they're smiling."

Peterson's son gets 8-day suspension over squad-car use

By Joseph Sjostrom | Tribune reporter
    12:02 AM CDT, April 10, 2008

Stephen Peterson, who was in his Oak Brook police uniform and driving a squad car when he was caught by news cameras after appearing before a Will County grand jury investigating the disappearance of his father's wife, was given an 8-day suspension Wednesday night for, according to his chief, casting the department in a bad light.

Peterson, 28, son of former Bolingbrook police Sgt. Drew Peterson, used "extremely poor judgment in using a squad car in a matter that had nothing to do with the Oak Brook Police Department or the village of Oak Brook," Chief Thomas Sheahan told the Oak Brook Police and Fire Commission.

The three-member panel handed down the suspension after meeting in executive session. Sheahan's attorney, Charles Hervas, had asked for a suspension of 6 to 15 days. The commission left the decision as to when the suspension would begin up to the chief.

Peterson left the Oak Brook Village Hall following the commission's ruling without comment.

Sheahan said Peterson previously had been given 1-day suspensions on two occasions—for making a rude comment to a citizen and for sending an inappropriate message on a police computer.

Peterson had told the panel that he appeared before the grand jury four times, twice in uniform. He said he thought he had permission on Nov. 29 and Dec. 13 because he notified his superiors and he wore his uniform because he expected to return before his shift was over.

But Sgt. Casey Calvello, his superior Dec. 13, said he and Peterson did not discuss where the court appearance was or why he was going. Calvello later saw Peterson on TV.

"After I found out there was a problem," Calvello said, he asked Peterson if he had gotten permission. " 'Did I say you could take the squad car? If I did, I'd go to the chief and take the hit.' He said, 'No.' "

Drew Peterson, 54, is a suspect in the Oct. 28 disappearance of his fourth wife, Stacy. The grand jury also is investigating the 2004 drowning of Kathleen Savio, his third wife, who was found dead in a dry bathtub.

Drew Peterson denies wrongdoing in either case. He has not been named a suspect in Savio's death, and has not been charged in either case.
