He has some scarring on his face but very little. He has a scar on the bridge of his nose where his safety glasses melted but if you don't look for it, you do not see it. On the right jaw line, he has some scarring but very little so his face was pretty much spared. His upper torso, arms, hands, and thighs were burned so what was scarred is mostly covered with clothes.

I am so happy to see how well he is doing and that he and his lovely wife are looking so happy. Looks like our prayers were heard

I didn't know about this either but clearly he's doing remarkably well and I'm sure it's partially because he has a wonderful family as his support system. He looks remarkably well and handsome, too.

I remember this story very well and I am surprised and glad to see Eddie so healthy looking I am sure part of this miracle is the emotional support he got from his wife and you

I remember the story - it's great to see he has recoved so well. I once was burned too, so I have an idea what he's been through. Glad to see he looks so happy, and his wife too.

He looks absolutely wonderful! What a handsome, miracle man your son is. I'm so glad his face was spared, he's so lucky. Looking at the photo, you would have no idea he was ever burned. Thank you for posting the photo. It's nice to have such a happy ending to a very sad, scary story

Oh, thank God. I'd forgotten the explosion, so wonderful to see him looking so happy and well.

How inspirational this picture is. It is so great that Eddie has made such a remarkable recovery. I hope he is feeling a good as he looks.
