Just woundering, what's the lifespan of a rat?

2-3 years is the general lifespan. Tia was 2 1/2, so at least I'll always know she led a good, long life. 2-3 years, though, is not nearly long enough for such beautiful, intelligent creatures to be with us.

Hehe, Kym, Flossie's never seen a cat yet, so for now she's very flattered by their opinions.

Flossie extends her thanks to everyone for the warm welcome! She's pretty fascinated when watching me type on this strange contraption I call a 'laptop', and is even more so when she sees herself appear on it.
