1st....That woman is simply AMAZING!! She told me things that I didn't even know that made sense after I thought about it and figured out what it meant.
Now, for Boo. She said Boo is VERY angry! Angry! Angry! Angry! She feels like she has been bounced around all over the place and she is SO fustrated and ANGRY! Nothing is like it was! She has nothing familar, nothing is the same anymore. She said Boo is not depressed but just ANGRY! Nancy said she is just a tough, angry, extreemly dominant presense. She walks through the house howeling because of her angry and to say "GET OUT OF MY WAY!"
She feels off balance here, hasn't adjusted and don't want to deal with adjusting.
Get this... Mama came through to defend Boo. It made Mama mad that we were calling her baby mean and angry and she wanted us to know Boo is like she (mama) was, tough..... NOT a tough "cookie" like Nancy and I kept referring to Boo but a tough "gal" that does have her soft spots. Mama was upset that I said she was tough and angry too and wanted me to remember she had soft spots too, although she didn't show it either. They BOTH seem tough but have soft spots and for me to remember that! Nancy asked if that was how Mama referred to Boo and I didn't recall ever hearing her call Boo "Gal".. (A phone call to my sister to ask and Mama DID call Boo "gal"!.. I swear, I did not know that!!!!)
She said Mama's death was VERY tramatizing to Boo. Boo understood Mama died since she was there with her when she passed, she understands it completely and she was so tramatized by it. Boo has not been happy since. Boo has not made the connection to Mama being MY Mama Too, or that I lived with them.
Nancy said she is doubtful Boo will ever be happy and don't think she will ever get over her anger. She said if Boo dies tomorrow, she would be happy because she wants to be with Mama again and not to hurt MY feelings but Mama isn't waiting for me, she is waiting for Boo. (That did not hurt my feelings since I already had that figured out.)
As for what to do about Boo, sending her to my sister or keeping her here, she said Boo is where she should be. She has had enough trama and uprooting.
Thinking back, after Mama died, Sis moved 4 times so that is all the uprooting Boo has been through after she lost Mama. Now wonder she is so upset... I just tonight put all that together.
As for why she HATES Samantha. For one thing she will never like these other cats here but she especially hates Samantha because of how SWEET Samantha is.... that irritates Boo to no end. She said Samantha could just wake up and stretch and that will irritate Boo.
Samantha, she said is just a sweet, sweet cat. Said she just gets so much love and sweetness from her and that she is SO apperciative. Nancy didn't understand the apperciative part until I told her about the former home she had and the 2 years on my doorstep begging to be mine. She told me Samantha adores me and just loves me SO much!.. I told her I know, I can see it in her eyes when she looks at me and I adore her just as much.
Boo also brought in what Nancy called a "tiger" cat and we figured out that was Amy. She said Boo will never respect Amy and never like her. She warned me, NOBODY is free from Boo's scorn here!
She said I will not change Boo so to leave her alone and let her work it out on her own if she ever does. To spend time with her, do it in a room alone with her with the door shut.
She told me some things that Mama wanted me to know and she is not sure Mama wanted me to discuss it with anyone, just things she wanted me to know. Things I was unaware of but now I understand.
Anyway, she said Mama feels better now but feels awful for Boo... so do I!
This was well worth the wait to get and I was stunned by some of the things she told me, things I had to call and ask Sis like Mama using that word "Gal".. This woman is for REAL! Just seeing things from the cats view was worth it. I just hate to hear how angry Boo is and there is nothing I can do but leave her alone...
She said she has spoke to Boo and so has Mama but don't know if it will help or not. Funny, but the bedroom door has been open all evening and Boo was in there until Nancy called and then she came in here pacing the floor just about the whole time I was on the phone with her. When I got off the phone, Boo went back to the bedroom.
She will do a follow up call in a few days to see if I have anymore questions.
