I heard it with my GSD Wolf with hip dysplasia. I heard it with Avalanche's ACL rupture. I know how you feel about hearing them in pain. It is gut-wrenching, but still, he may recover. Think positive thoughts. We are praying for a miracle here. Miracles have happened here before and we are praying for another. Don't give up. We are with you.

Dear Liz, I'm so sorry that Buddy has had another injury! I'll keep on praying for healing and soothing of his pain - and of yours too as you have to make such big decisions for the both of you.

My friend came over about 1 hour ago & helped me take
Buddy outside to the yard. Bud actually sat up completely
on his on and stood up (shakely) while I wrapped the sling
around his back end. He definately needed our help to get
out but it did go a lot smoother for him than this mornings
outee. Buddy's eyes looked so much clearer, there was less
pain in his expression. At least he did put weight on the other
back leg this time, but he is very weak & does not move
around inside the house at all.I bring him drinks of water &
food and he eats & drinks laying down. The vet tech is coming
over tomorrow morning to help get Bud into the office.I'm anxious
to hear what the vet will say after a hands on exam.I'm
really putting on my bravest face for Buddy & trying hard to
stay positive about tomorrow. Thank you all so much for your
encouragement & prayers. Liz & Buddy.

That's an encouraging update, Liz. Hopefully tomorrow Buddy will be even stronger. I know how terribly anguished you are. But we all are going to think nothing but positive, healing thoughts.
