Oh My..... Panic Mode

This morning Thumper's soft spot decided to open up. OMG what a mess.
Panic mode set after I was examing this area and part of the scab pulled up and shot blood all over the toliet. Short version story, I had to call back and appologize to vet's office for screaming at them in the background. Bless our vet's heart, he call us back around noon, we had been in contact with office prior.

I put a call into our friend who came over just as the bleeding stopped (thanks to the towel pressure).

This was what she warned us might happen. It's a GOOD thing but scares the crap out of you when it happens.

Now I know, the tumor has it's own blood supply. So it's NOT a major artery causing her to bleed to death. As long as it doesnt bleed from her eyes, mouth we are ok.

After it was all over, she waltzes up stairs and is sleeping.

Mom and Dad are still slightly unraveled.

WOW what a scare! I hope this is a GOOD sign, as you said...

Once you can breathe again, can you tell if her tumour is any smaller?

Tumor is not smaller.
You can tell the area around the scab is down ever so slightly.

OMG! How scary that would be. I've been away for awhile so not sure if I saw the thread on the tumor. I wish the best for all of you.

Oh my...how terribly scary and unnerving. Glad she's sleeping peacefully now.

As for mom and dad...breathe deep...breathe deep. If that fails, try valium.

No wonder I missed it. I rarely go anywhere but General since I barely have time to make even make it there. I will read this through when I get home and actually "allowed" on the internet, since I'm really not suppose to be on it here at work. Thanks!
