    I can't blame them!
My youngest dachshund always whines when my mum leaves in the house with me when she goes shopping!
She also whines when we shut her in the garden so she jumps up at the glass back-door and whines!
Believe me, whining is normal for who get pampered too much like mine!

Horsegirl, I got my dog from a rescue when he was only a couple of months old and went through this too. I found a stuffed animal at a local pet store that had batteries that made a heartbeat sound and vibration when it was on.

I wish I could remember the name of the company that made it. I will see if I still have the toy. When Seven would get upset, he would lay down on the stuffed animal and the heartbeat seemed to calm him down.

Every dog I've had has gone through what you're experiencing. It's very normal.

    Much luck.

    OMG....WHAT A SWEETHEART SHE IS....AWWWW!!!

I agree with everyone, she is just very young and whining is normal. Phoebe is 2 1/2yrs and she still can whine when she wants too, especially if you are not paying attention to her!!

She will grow out of that (whining alot) but still expect some.
