What doin' for 4 O' july?

I'll be painting my rental house inside and laying laminate flooring in one room on the Fourth (fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth).

Is this why I have the holiday and vacation time off of 'work'?

well I am getting fireworks tonight. tomorrow night there is a huge firework show uptown and I think we're going and then on July 4th, I am going to help clean at the shelter where I volunteer at in the morning, I don't really want to go to the parade and we aren't going to be in it this year, because the dogs about died last year from the heat. so when I come home, we are having a bunch of company and a BBQ.

Well if my hopfully future dog passes his hip test today, then I should be getting him on the 4th! Which would make the 4th a wonderful holiday. We are also going on vacation on Friday, so lots of packing.

My folks are in Indiana (from Florida) for my niece's wedding on Saturday, so I am going to visit with them at a cookout at my sister's house. I am sure we will also be working on some last minute wedding details also! Should be fun!

Doubt I will stay awake long enough for fireworks though, since I have to go to work the next day!
