    Thumpers Gift To Mom

Today for my birthday present from Thumper, she showed me that eating by herself was still an option (although very slow one LOL). As everyone knows, for at least 3 weeks now I've had to hand feed her wet/dry mix. Today she wanted to show mom "I can still eat by myself".

It sure put a smile on my face today.
When she went over to where the food was and attempted to get food on her own that made my day. I made it easier for her (I overturned a bowl, it was the right height for her to get to the food) and she ate a few bites that way, got tired and wanted her food the usual way. She get's feed 3x a day so we shall see what the happens at the next meal time.

I was so thrilled she even wanted to try to eat on her own

Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

Bless her heart tonight she ended up in bathroom trying to get up on the sink to drink water from the faucet like old times. If she would of started the "cherp" noises to get my attention to come in and turn the water on that would of taken me over the top.
She needed help to the sink but it put a smile on my face tonight once again that Thumper was being her old self again with no worries
