I remember Madeguada's first post and those many questions and challenges of taking in a new cat, a pregnant new cat at that, and just learning herself the wonders of these creatures.

Now just look at this spectacular little fur family. I remember the kitten pics, and can't remember every seeing so many white kittens in one place...all so very sweet

Congrats, Capablanca! Your momma will come to appreciate that when kitties do give out luvvin, it's for real and the best kind of all!

Capablanca, what a beauty you are. Hope you are enjoying being the center of attention because we can hardly take our eyes from your beauty. You are a great cat mommy, too. May your day bring you much pleasure and joy, sweet "white cape, the strategist!".

    Hello again
Thanks for all your nice comments about Capa. She now has being with me almost 7 months and she is not biting me any more, well she does but I dont get scared hehhe. I cannot believe Butter liked Capa, he is soo cute, but he is too late she was spayed 3 weeks ago, so too late Mr. Butter! and all the naugthy cats who are there.
Actually we all think she hates her name, because when she is laying on the floor and you scream her name, she makes a very funny gesture with her mouth, ask ganime!
For the ones who saw the pictures of the furrbabies, well all of them are gone, we kept 2 Margarita and Musti but unfourtunetly Musti the boy with oddeyes died last 4th of July when he fall accidentaly from our balcony (we live on the 6th floor) So having Capa as the COTD instead of making me very happy it makes me a bit sad because I still think of him and I know Capa and Margarita miss him as much as us, so if Musti you are somewhere near and u can see us or listen to us, we send you a big hug from our family and the neigbors.
    thanks to all
and thank to the creators of the site for the honor of putting us as cat of the day.

    Oh how sad! I hadn't heard. {{{madeguada, Musti, made's husband, Capablanca and Margarita}}}

So sorry for the lost. He was a delight. Perhaps today's joy can solace the pain somewhat. I'm sure he is at the Rainbow Bridge, playing and waiting to see you all again.

    Congratulations Capablanca!

So the lovely Capablanca finally has her day in the spotlight!!! I've seen you and your kitties before and you are all breathtaking indeed! (Right now I have trouble seeing the rest of your kitties as our firewall here at work has blocked the site I'll try viewing it from my home computer.)

I'm so sorry to hear about Musti; wherever he is he must be smiling at the thought of his mom as COTD!

To ganime and madeguada, belated congratulations also for Turkey taking 3rd place in the World Cup!

And on another note...the news over here is reporting about the current upheaval in the Turkish government...I hope it all comes to a peaceful resolution!

Oh Capablanca, what a gorgeous kitty you are with your fur as white as snow! I don't blame you for having a little bit of attitude since you are so pretty! Congrats on your life and your wonderful mommy for taking such good care of you.

    'Blanca and 'Rita

Madeguada, thank you sooo much for sharing her and the kittens with us! I finally remembered seeing them before, but this time was even better! How did she manage to find the right "Tom" so she had all white kittens? Or was she bred? Either way, she is absolutely gorgeous, and I now have a new picture saved for my wallpaper collection - the first one with her and the kittens in the basket. I am so sorry to hear about little Musti - I know he is at Rainbow Bridge, but being a true animal lover, Eric Clapton's "Tears in Heaven" came through my mind and my eyes got wet.
The picture of them all cuddled together will be my first email I send to my new job as an attachment so I can look at them tomorrow as I work.
Much, much, love to you all - and I agree with gini - it's a good thing I'm way over here in California, or I too would have been in line at your door for a kitten. Grasshopper would have had to learn to adjust
I love my tuxedo girl, but those white cats are really something else!!

It's Capablanca! I knew it as soon as I saw the pic!
What a completely stunning, beautiful girl you are! Very deserving of being COTD, and maybe cat of the year?!

I also remember Made's first post about (formerly) not being a 'cat person'..................wow, things have changed!
What alot of fun you are having, and much joy too

Congrats to you Capblanca and Made!

GOD! Aren't those pictures beautiful. I watched them with my office colleagues. They are so peaceful and they bring so much joy.
Sorry for Musti. I know how hard it is. When Juni's mom Naomi died of some sunflower poisoned seeds, I cried for 2 days. And I still miss her after more than one year.
