Took own advice --- Called Mr. Canon ...
Took longer to talk through the Menues than it did to Answer after it rang!

NICE Guy ... listened to my Tail of Grief & Woe ...
Said he prolly had the answer ...
Defective CCD - the Image Sensor burried behind the lense.

Sounds Expensive, said I ...
Not So, said he ... it's a Manufacturing Defect --- we'll FixZit and send 'er back
2nd Day FedEx for NUFFIN ... NO CHARGE FIX - provided it IS the CCD that's
at fault ... but he wuz "Purdy Sure" it was a CCD Failure in my case.

WOW!!

Camera is an A70 - a rather early A-Series camera ... prolly 4+ years old ...
LONG PAST the original warranty ... yet Canon will FixZit for FREE!!

And I thnk pay shipping both ways ... not sure 'bout that part, yet.
E-Mail wiffa "details" comes tomorrow ...
Overall Time to Fix & Return - "Bout Two Weeks, TOPS" he sez.

well - it turned out it was
Me and Keegan
Phred and his crew -
and
Carrie and Gabbie!
and Toni of the dachund races - we represented PT -
I asked the lady from the Noah's ark thing and she didn't have a clue what I was talking about pet of the day so I didn't pursue that.

It was a lot of fun - I won a door prize basket filled with doggie items and a $30 gift cert to a groomer.
Carrie won something - but can't remember what it was. Toni of the dachund races won several items!
Gabbie won biggest dog.
my friend Lindsey and her dog won best tail wag!
The day was over around 3:30 pm and it was so hot that Phred ended up taking his crew swimming close to his house and I took Keegan home and ran some errands and had my parents came over.
Maybe next year we will have a bigger crowd from PT! But it was fun today....

Walkers did da "Walk".

By da tyme da "Walk" wuz ober, I'd kinda *kalmed down* an quit da
*Grrrrin*, *Air-Snappin*, and *YAPPIN* in ebberbuddie's faces,
an wuz havin a purdy gud tyme of it.

Miz Keegan "s'prized" allua 2-Leggers an dint get too uppie-set when her Mom
got close to or "touched" anudder Dawggie.

Rumor Hazzit we gotz sum *snappies* ta "develop" ... but since da Bus Driver / Head Photographer
is havin a REALLY TUFF Tyme keepin even WUN eyeball propped open ...
I guess we'll phinish dis inna morning.
