    News not good

    Dad had his tests,where they stick wires on you,don't know what good it does.The ALS is in the Advance stage,not good to hear,hope that Dad can spend at least one more Christmas with us and and enjoy our company and Fritz's.It is not going to be easy for us,we will have to have patience with him and do the best that we can in the time remaining.I am in tears as I write this.I could really use some support,so if you could,when i have new pictures of my pal Fritz to show,i would really love to see some comments on him as it really keeps my spirits up and the picture taking keeps my mind off things for awhile.
    thanks very much devon. I have been boo'd.

    Oh Barry I feel like crying too. Through all of your posts and pictures I think we have all come to sort of feel like we know your dad. Of course you will all be in our prayers and we will continue to look forward to Fritz photos. How is your dad handling the news and also your mom? I am so sorry Barry.

    Aw gee, Barry. Sometimes I don't know why we need the tests to tell us what we can see for ourselves. I know first hand how hard it is to see our folks getting older, and having an illness taking over. Prayers for you, mom and dad. And pets and treats to Fritz.

    I'm just reading this after posting to the picture thread, Barry. I'm also in tears, needless to say. I just wish there is something I could do for all of you. Please keep posting those wonderful pictures of that sweet boy for us to enjoy every day. Also, keep posting pictures of your Dad. I know it cheers him up in a small way and he has something to put a smile on his face. All of us can smile together. My heart breaks for all of you, Barry. I'm so sorry. All I can offer you is some support. I'm here for you anytime you need someone to talk to.

    Oh Barry, I am so sorry to hear this. I know how hard it is to watch someone you care about as their Alzheimer's progresses. Please come here anytime you need to talk, or just need a virtual hug. Those pictures of Fritz and your Dad are even more precious and important now. {{{Hug}}}
