It doesn't even look that tall, but look at the bult and the width of the legs.
And yet it looks like it is at a perfect wieght. It looks really healthy. I can't imagine what an overwieght one would look like.
I think everydog looks big too moi these days. The first thing I noticed about 8 below. "wow, look at the width of those dog's legs."
haha, I've gone crazy!![]()

My favorites are the pointing breeds, including the standard poodle who isn't even considered a pointing breed any more.
Their extreme athleticism, boundless energy, eagerness to please, trainability, adaptability, versatility, and the ability to think on their own are all endearing traits to me. These same traits can also be extremely challenging to a first time owner.![]()
To train a dog you have to think like a dog!
You know..I'm not a big fan of a lot of the terriers, but both of my all-time favorite breeds are terriers.![]()
Thank you Wolf_Q!

I am a herding girl myself, and how could you resist this face?

We have had herding dogs for many years. The Australian Cattle Dogs are the best for herding cattle & ours loves to go hunting. They need to be used for what they are bred up for though because they are high energy. My husband takes Baxter to town for short trips & always has to stop & buy him a cookie. When they stop to do the banking he gets a doggie treat there also. I had an Australian Shepherd for over 14 years & loved the heck out of him. He was so smart & would retrive tennis balls, roll a barrel with his front paws. He was loyal to the end. It was hard on me when he passed away. I love to watch the herding dogs at the state fair. They have herding classes with sheep & cattle. The owners use voice commands & some use a whistle. Those dogs are so hyped up & ready to do their jobs.![]()
sighthound & herding for sure

i like collies cause i think they are very cutie and loving dogs!
My favorite is the working group. I love big breeds, especially the Great Danes and Mastiffs. I don't think I will ever have another giant breed, unless we buy our own house. I don't ever want to have to go through re-homing ever again.![]()
