We are happy dogs..pics and video

It's been snowing for about 36 hours now. The huskies are happy dogs!

Hobo ripping around the yard this afternoon. Hard to believe he's almost 10 and almost been a wolf's dinner! He is my perpetual puppy!

Anvik overcame his lack of confidence in the big yard long enough to go for a few laps. He wanted to be where I was, but he's not real sure about hanging out with the big pack yet! It can be a bit intimdating to a newcomer, especially one who has always been tethered!

And a little video of Mac desperately trying to get someone to play with him.

Probably about six inches now. It just stopped a couple hours ago, but the clouds haven't cleared. I think some more will fall overnight.

OK, I'll pass on the snow...but I love the pictures and the video (especially the video because every time I played it Bon would run into the living room looking for the dogs ).

It sure looks like you have some happy dogs there!!!

They do look happy! We had two days of snow here, most of it's gone.. I'm not ready for 36 hours worth yet! Keep it up north!

Your puppers are certainly in their element Tamara - great to see them so happy and energetic

I'm not much of a snow person although I do enjoy a good day of skiing so long as I can drive away from it at the end of the day

Wow, Tamera! I've been away from PT for some time and missed that you'd taken on another dog! I'm so happy for both you and Anvik. I did a little research as to how he came into your lives, but wasn't sure if you'd ended up taking Denver as well?

I have to say that Anvik is a total cutie! He just looks goofy. He made it to doggie heaven on Earth!

You are an amazing woman for all you do for your dogs and cats.

Sigh, I wish I had taken Denver. Denver got adopted the same day Anvik came here. Unfortunately, that night he jumped his adopters' fence and hasn't been seen since. He's been gone for 6 weeks now. I may not have had any better luck with him, Anvik jumped my fence a few times, but I think he would have stayed closer if there were other dogs around, especially one he already knew. He was an only dog at his adoptive home. I hope that someone found him and kept him.

Anvik is a cutie. He's the complete opposite of the kind of dogs we usually get. Not afraid of people at all. He'd like to be glued to me at all times if possible. Howls like he's being killed if he's alone for a few minutes or can't see a person for a second! He's so smart it's spooky and a good little sled dog too. He's having surgery tomorrow so I'm going to run his legs off this afternoon. It will likely be a couple weeks before he can really run again.
