Maxfund is an excellent organization--they run a no-kill shelter that takes in and treats sick and injured animals. I'm sure they'll be very particular about choosing Lola's furever home. And I do hope that the interest in Lola will carry over so that some of their other cats will be adopted!

Maxfund has updated its website (here) concerning Lola's adoption. Unfortunately, they won't allow anyone outside Colorado to adopt her.
