Thread: What is the deal?

I understand what your saying, but like everyone said sometimes it's hard to reply when you are on a time limit. If it is an urgent situation, most people will reply right away if they have any advice.

Also, sometimes I don't reply (not to you, by any means, no one specific) because sometimes people ask questions that they already know the answer to. When you try to be helpful they won't just take the advice and say thank you, they will argue with why it won't work. That bothers me to no end.

I know what you are talking about but I tend to blame myself for posting something boring or long-winded. I was upset for a little while after I read some posts in a thread that came up a few months ago, can't remember the title, but some old-timers did say they didn't respond to new members. I thought for a few days that I'd just leave the forum and let them revel in their homey atmosphere. Instead, I decided to give myself a role here, that of a newbie responding to other newbie threads - as long as they caught my interest and I had something relevant to say. For instance, I didn't want to see the thread about cats needing help in Bellafonte, PA to disappear and so I've kept posting on it, as has Catty1. It's the kind of topic I find very interesting and I want new member Melissa to feel welcomed and supported.

    Oh, I understand.

I love to help out whenever I can but it becomes frustrating when you attempt to do something and then they kind of second guess you.

I Guess I Answer/respond When Something Catches My Attention Cause I Am Currently Dealing With A Similar Situation Or Something Is Said That I Feel Really Strongly About Or I Disagree Stronglt, Etc., Etc. Hard To Say Just Why I Ever Respond, But I Definitely Do Not Go Out Of My Way To Ignore Anyone.

BTW... I READ YOUR BIO. HAVE YOU DECIDED ON A COLLEGE YET? AND ANY IDEAS ON A MAJOR?
    Heh, thank you!
Funny enough, I have gotten so many refreshing perspectives from this post! It really does make me feel better. I know I'm overly sensitive about most things but sometimes I feel like I can't help it. Yarrgh!

I would like to go to Texas A&M or Oregon State University or LSU Baton Rouge for veterinary medicine.
