Thread: Ok We Need An Addiction Group!

  1. #16
So we have two cats named in such a way as to relate them to moons. Interesting. Io and Moonlight on Snow. Io is so huge, he has his own weather system! That is one heavy boy!

Sweetie? love? hunny? now you are telling tales out of school I promised him we wouldn't talk about his ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm full figure.

Well, I mean, c'mon already! He's HUGE! Catty, I thought about refering to him as a hippotanic landmass, but he's really quite a bit, um, BIGGER than a landmass! I swear he exerts his own gravity!

You'll have to ask Lady's Human (who is also owned by an orange fluffball of about that size) about his theory of cat gravity.

Oh, welcome to the Good Life, Io and Moonlight on Snow!

NOW Karen who said good life? Do I sound like a person who devotes (what was that thread ? too much time money or attention) I am going to parcel out affection based on a solemn calendar of who gets what when ......oh forget it I can't even type this malarcky! they will be ruined! Now to think of the name for the support group for shameless suckers like me................................................ lmao

Thank you, Karen! We're actually rather excited to have these two love thieves in our lives.

I had a friend of mine who proposed an anti-gravity device based upon a cat and a slice of buttered toast. Since buttered toast only falls butter side down and a cat always lands on it's feet, if you attach the buttered toast to a cat's back and drop the cat, it will never hit the ground, no matter which side you drop it!

Anyway, thanks again. They will be shamelessly spoiled.

Io sounds like a distant relative of our oldest cat, Pippen, AKA Big and Stupid. He's lost weight since we moved into a MUCH bigger house , and he's down to a svelte 18 pounds. When he didn't have as much room to run in, he weighed 20 lbs.

Just watch out for happy paws, with the meathooks that accompany a cat of that size they can be dangerous!

Thanks for the cute story and for rescuing these two precious babies. LOL at "hippotanic land mass"! How delightfully geeky is that?

LOL Does that mean the "love quota" increases proportionately in relation to the size of the "landmass"? Sounds like a good deal to me As for the gravity equation - I'd suggest you prepare for the "landings"

    Congratulations on two great acquisitions

    What a funny thread!!

Did anyone warn you that hanging around on Cat General at PT causes you to acquire more kitties??

How wonderful that these two shelter babies are now in a HOME and will now be surrounded with love and fun!

Little Moonlight on snow sounds like a feisty girl - already laying claim on daddy as her person.

But Io claims MY heart!! I am convinced that nothing is so loyal, loving and loveable as a big ole ORANGIE. I am now owned by a 20+ pound hunk of fluffy orange...my Dylan (who is draped over my siggie below)

Will surely be looking forward to pictures....
