I'm working on obedience and socialization now. In 6 weeks she's going to start some bite work. I was originally dead set on Schutzhund but now I'm thinking about French Ring.

I want another shih tzu. This time it will be socialized way better than snuggles.

I will train it and everything. I want it to be a rescue though. If I can't find a shih tzu to rescue I will get another small breed. I doubt we will register it and I don't care if it is a boy or a girl.

We can only get one if we move to a new house. We have been thinking hard about that but I don't know.......

you aren't starting anything.

it's unethical to breed these colors because you may come out with an unaccepted color. also, breeders are trying to minimize the number of merles in the harl and black genes. if you breed a fawn with a herlequin there is a big chance you will get something like a fawnequin or some other unusual looking coat pattern. if you breed and mantle with a brindle you will probably get something like a brindle mantle or a brindle herlequin. you can read all the accepted colors and details here.

I'm pretty sure it's because the puppies they'll produce won't be colors that are allowed to be registered.

I don't think I'll be getting my next dog until next year or the year after. She will be a female puppy Manchester Terrier. And I plan on taking her to parks, to visit my school, to my friend's houses, I want her to be the friendliest dog ever!

well i plan on getting a female chocolate labrador retreiver and i plan on training her agility and showing her in conformation. but that will not be any time soon, maybe a year or so from now. i will take her to public places like towns to get her socialized. i will also take her to friend's houses and on trips like camping and what not.

Ah, I get it now Glacier. Thank you for clearing that up a bit for me! Well, I am glad that is how it happens most of the time. I thought they dumped 'em off at shelters. Well, there is one more thing to add to my learning spot in my brain. I hope you don't mind if I come to you with any questions when they come...
