Lol.. I've been thinking of getting another.

Well I got the one with the 18-55mm lens, which made it about $80 more (but the lens is about $150 on it's own). It was $780 from Amazon, and I'll be getting a $100 rebate.

I would get it, the picture quality is fantastic. I've been wanting this camera for months but didn't want to be put out that much money but I finally decided to get it. I shoot pictures every day, so it's not like it will go to waste!

Well, the S2 is what I had and it takes great pictures. It is really good for someone who's into photography but not looking to spend a lot of money. But I am thinking of doing this as an odd job. People are asking me to shoot pictures of their pets now so I am just trying to improve upon myself by getting better equipment. I like the S2 and I'm still going to use it, but the pictures aren't high enough quality and the camera isn't fast enough for the types of things I'm wanting to do.

I waited a long time because of the price, but finally got fed up with the grain (and a few other things) in the S2 and decided to get the Rebel. Maybe you could get the S3? It is a really nice camera. I almost got it but decided I'd be happier with the Rebel

Those pictures are wonderful! Looks so professional! You are so lucky that you got a Rebel. I want one really badly, but I'm going to have to save up for a couple years in order to buy one. I want to get a Canon S2 this Christmas, so hopefully I'll have enough money by then.
