    To all my lovely friends - THANK YOU. I've had such a wonderful day.
    Firstly we went driving through the wonderful Peak District and visited a wonderful Donkey Sanctuary!!!! It was marvellous, they work sooooo hard and have about 30 donkeys of various ages from tiny new borns (yes really!) to a lovely old lady called Annie who is 51 years old - good grief she's ony just younger than me!!!!
    We did all the small villages round about and it's been a gorgeous day - bright sunshine and a little breeze (it's very high in the Peak District) everything was so green and lush with lots of baby lambs kicking their heels!
    We've just arrived home to get changed and then we're off to our favourite restaurant to round off the perfect day.

    Yes, I am nosy too - how was your dinner - what did you have?

    I can just picture your day - when I visited England it was May and will always be a beautiful memory. Everything was so green and it was so much fun to see all of the animals enjoying Spring!

    D'you know the only thing that would have made my lovely day better would have been to have ALL OF YOU THERE WITH ME!
    The meal was lovely and I had Avocado Vinigraitte to start with followed by Goujons of Plaice with Ratatouille, Carrots, New potatoes and Cauliflower Cheese then rounded the lovely meal off with Tiramasu with a couple of glasses of a rather nice white wine.
    And today With some friends we visited a Craft Fair - and got loads of ideas for Christmas!!!
    All in all a lovely week-end

    A belated happy birthday from me too! I'm pleased that you had such a great day.

    The peak district sounds wonderful. It's a place I always wanted to visit but in spite of all the years I lived in the UK I never managed to do so.
