prayers/good thoughts for Star- *update

We got back late last night after 3 days in Virginia and I noticed Star had an injury on her leg. Figured it was another hot spot, but up close it looks like an abcessed bite or wound. I have no idea what happened.

Cleaned it out and gave her an asprin last night. (and removed the dead bird she was guarding, yuck

)
I just got back - I had to LEAVE her at the vets - They're all booked up & will check it out between surgeries. Please send her some good thoughts or a little prayer, I've never had to leave her before, she looked so sad.

Will update when I know more.

Awww, Star, how sad. First you're injured, then Momma takes away your prized dead birdie and NOW she's left you at the white coats - abandoned you, practically! You will certainly be in our prayers.
