I agree to that! It would be nice if people even do quick recaps if they feel they have to start a new thread, or something...PT is growing, and it's hard to keep track of everyone's furbabes!!

Slick,
Thank you.
I cannot get onto PT often at work anymore, because I have a Nazi female boss..... so sometimes I don't know that "fluffy" took a bad turn, or if indeed I could offer constructive advice ....
Must admit the "preview" on the thread when you hover over the title helps me figure out whether I missed out on a previous thread somewhere ...
The only thing I do do, is put the word SPOT somewhere in my thread titles ..... so I can find it again .....![]()

Oh my, excellent thread..............I am sure that I do miss many posts about important things..........usually about pets.
I do see that some members have fun trying to see how many threads they can open - and I usually just avoid them.
I have found that once you open them - there isn't much substance and it was a waste of my time.
I guess this is why I stick to the people that I know well, and feel sure that I want to know what they are posting about. Not very fair to new members, but some use this as a chat room - not a forum.
Fluffy - well, wherever you are, Fluff - I hope you are doing well!![]()

Hee Hee that's what I thought, too! I like the idea of fewer threads/more content.Originally Posted by dukedogsmom

Is Fluffy OK? I hope so!

There is no real Fluffy (unless one of the new members has one). I was trying to use a name that has not been used on PT. If I used the name of a real PT pet, then the member might get his/her nose out of joint thinking I was pointing fingers.
I was just trying to make a point that it's always nice to post and update and also include a link to a previous thread on that subject.
...and for those who keep starting new threads on the same subject, just know that I don't read them. There is no need to create a thread about getting a hangnail, then starting another one on how much it hurts, then a third thread giving a blow by blow account of how the hangnail was cut off, then a fourth thread on how good the finger feels now.
...and yes, I'm using the hangnail as an example as I have never seen a hangnail thread.![]()
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Until one has loved an animal, part of their soul remains unawakened.
I have to agree. Nothing bugs me more when I have no idea who/what someone is talking about because they assume everyone knows who 'fluffy' is!

Wait.. I'm lost, how is Fluffy's hang nail? Or is Fluffy still over weight??![]()

I agree as well, I don't have a 12 hours a day to spend searching to find out the ending to a thread I read a few days ago.
Maybe "Fluffy" has gone on holidays? ohhhh no i know to the groomers.
Slick were just teasing hehe. It's still happening though.
