Well...at this point of my life (work full-time, school almost full-time and newly married) I prefer cats because of their independence. They are so self-sufficient if you feed, water and scoop after them. They love you when they want, which is around my bed time...

Dogs are the greatest too, but since sharing my life with cats, I tend to think cats are a bit smarter and I love the grace and standards they have.

Probably not a good thing to say in a cat thread, but personally, I like dogs more, don't get me wrong though, I love cats :] I love pretty much any animal. I've always had a dog since I was little, but always wanted a cat..ah, I love em both ;D

I prefer cats. I like dogs, but they can sometimes be a little too overbearing for me. I like my personal space, and I think cats fit in better to my lifestyle. They also seem to have more humanlike personalities. They are more opinionated and ALWAYS let you know how they feel.

Love them both. I love all animals.

I just can't choose. I grew up with cats and love them all dearly, but I love Kia to death. She is my baby and constant companion. I can't imagine my life without her.
