I have a B.S. in psychology with a minor in sociology. Not sure what exactly I want to do yet, but I was excepted into a really good MA program for professional counseling, so I am considering that.

I graduated in 1991 with an AS and studied Travel Administration.....basically I learned the in's and out's of the travel industry. I had always planned on become a travel agent but I ended up a flight attendant instead, left that business and went to work in the hotel business, left that and went into the medical field.

depending how my wrist mends, will i be able to decide what new career to tackle.
I've been Boooo'd!
I had was an english major, with a focus of book publishing. I finished that major, and decided that I would never, ever do anything with it. Basically, you sit at a desk all day, pushing a pencil and correcting grammar and spelling errors. While it might be for some people, it just isn't for me.
Then, I took a couple of courses in Phlebotomy (drawing blood), took an internship and loved it. I got a job working at a local hospital and hated it. I was put on the emergency room with basically no special training (that is *very* different than a lab setting) and quit 3 weeks later.
Now, I have a job managing a small copy shop -- I do use some training I got from my publishing major, but for the most part not. I love, love, love my job, and can definitely see myself doing this 5, 10, 25, 50 years down the road. It's very diverse -- everyday is different. It's creative, and rarely is it boring.![]()
I have a Bachelor Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Florida Atlantic University. I have worked in graphics since 1993 and the for last 7 years I got involved with web design, and that's what I do now. All along I have been taking classes to keep up with technology and advance my skills. I enjoy taking classes, working my brain and meeting new people, and I start a web programming class in June.
Have a great time with your education, and learn alot!
I graduated in 1990 with a BS in Communications. My emphasis was Public Relations and Journalism.
