    nice thread!
here are a few things I did over the years-
    from my mural painting days-

A couple quick acrylics of my kids-

The last four years I have been learning to illustrate with computer-

Hope you enjoy them! - Pat

    Very nice Pat,

Yeah... we've all had to mostly abandon conventional art for computer illustrations. Only the "very" bestof the best illustrators can make a living doing commissions. Attached is one of my previous commissions from back in the day when illustrators were in demand!!!

i forgot my info...I'm Audrey from Canada.

Another one I'll likely never finish...seems to be very common for me T-T

    Did this for Val..

I guess i have a more cartoony style, and I have only begun working with pencils and realism. I actually kind of want to be an animator...o_O

Anyway, I never realized there was so much talent on this site!!

    Hi Audrey,

Yes you do have an Animator's style. Your work looks alot like the old time cells drawn for animation. Are you in school for this? Animation, like most art these days is being done more and more on the computer. I think with the right training and your innate abilities, you could do this!!!

Keep up your efforts - and force yourself to finish the ones that you struggle with. It is good practice to finish something that you are sometimes no longer into. Every artist, illustrator or retoucher has to work on or create an image/subject that less than excites them!!!

I'm not currently in school...but I've been looking into it. I've been taking lessons for realistic drawing with pencils and such...and she's trying to push me to overcome my problem with not finishing things. It's hard, but hopefully I can over come it. It feels good to actually *finish* something, and know you've put everything you can into it...

I do photgraphy for fun, my dad laughs at me since I practicly take my camera everywhere, even when when I go to the mall! My mom, though thinks I should take pictures of things that are not nature since I already have a million.. But whatelse can compete with nature T_T?
