I saw an ad on tv for a new treat for dogs that I thought you may be interested in. It's called Pedigree Joint Care Treats by the Pedigree Pet company. It's for older dogs and dogs with joint problems. It's supposed to be full of good stuff to help keep their joints healthy. I think it's new so may not be available in Canada yet but maybe they would have some information on the web site:

Rufus was the first one I thought of when I saw that ad. Hopefully, you can find out about it on their site or at least email them and ask about it. Good luck. Hugs for you and Rufus.

I did not mean to minimize your relationship with Rufus by calling him your pet friend. It is so hard to describe the ties we have with our animals because they are all so individual. I do see that the is incredibly special to you. I went to your web page to get a better look at Rufus. Is he a border collie? He looks very much like my Bonnie, but she doesn't have white feet.
