All About Katie!

I thought it was time that Katie had a thread all too herself! She didn't get to go with us to visit Anna, because as most of you know, Miss Kate can be a snob with other dogs. Other than that one little character flaw my Katie Girl is just the best! I could go on and on about her. I love my big girl so much and think she is just the sweetest thing. She really is a great dog! Yesterday Katie stayed home by herself all day and she was a very good girl. No messes of any kind at all. I'm so proud of her! I wanted some alone time with her so today Tori had to stay home while Katie and I went to the pet store. Again, I have to say I am so proud of that girl! She was so well behaved in the store. She walked beside me like a good girl while I pushed the cart. There were lots of comments about how pretty my girl was and how big she was...lol. The manager of the store knows Katie by name and always gives her lots of loving. When we were getting ready to leave a little boy stopped to pet her and shouted out..."SO AWESOME!" I have to say that I agree..lol.

We stocked up on Katie's favorite Eagle Pack can food, plently of treats and a new stuffie.

The other morning Katie was curled up in her favorite chair and Alden thought she looked cold, so he had to cover her up. Doesn't she look snug as a bug and sweet as can be.

I also caught her zonked out with just the tip of her tongue sticking out. Too cute!

I really love, love, love this big girl of mine!

Ohh, they had a doggie scale at the pet store and Katie weighed in at 85.2 pounds.

Thanks so much for posting the pics!! I enjoyed them, they made my smile! I especially love the one of Katie curled up in that chair!! Her tail looks so soft. She sounds like such a wonderful snuggle bug. Give her lots of hugs for me!!

Well you're right, we don't get enough Katie pics! She is such a gorgeous girl, her face is so expressive. I loved all the pictures of your big beautiful Katie girl!

Such beautiful pictures of Katie! She is such a wonderful dog. Her coloring is so great! And she is a sweetheart for sure! A great big sister to Tori too. I am glad she gets to go on trips alone with you since she doesn't get to go to Aunt Anna's.

WooHoo a Katie thread! Robin she is just gorgeous and I can tell what a big love she is. I had to laugh at the one of her all kinked up in the chair. Bella does that too on my recliner and looks so uncomfortable.

I was very impressed with this picture because she is not *helping herself* to the rawhides on that bottom shelf. Can't say that Bella would have as much self-control! LOL!

Pam, I have to tell you that I was surprised that she didn't snatch herself a bone or two..lol. She went in once for a big sniff of some bones and I thought she might grab one but I said "leave it" and thats all it took. She's such a good girl

. Lots of major sniffing going on but she never did pick anything up.

Katie is such a gorgeous, sweet, girl she certainly deserves her own thread and special day! She is seriously the most beautiful akita I have ever seen! And she has a super personality, talk about a people loving dog, what a sweetheart! It doesn't matter that she doesn't like most other dogs, because she's a great big sis to Tori!
