    A bit late..

    I just realized that Flutter's 1st birthday passed without any fanfare!!! My little girl is ONE YEAR OLD ALREADY!

    Here are some photos of her this morning. I just loved the strong sunlight hitting her on the bottom step.

    How is it possible that I love this little girl so much? It amazes me that I took so long to finally admit she was mine and to sign those adoption papers. She has blossomed since her surgery, and now I don't even stop to think about her leg. I was checking old photos and videos of her this morning and couldn't believe what a difference in her now compared to then with the half leg... and I fought her amputation because I thought she at least deserved to keep the leg she had! Just look at how happy she is now! Look how far my baby girl has come!

    Sigh.... what was life like a year ago before she walked into it? I stop dead in my tracks to just take in her beauty. And she is beautiful inside and out. And she is all mine. I love ths little girl!

    I think those are the most beautiful pictures I have ever seen of Flutter.

    What beautiful pictures of Flutter! I just love how the sunlight hits her. And, don't worry, Flutter forgives meowmie for forgetting to post about her birthday a little late. She's so sweet, how can she not ??!!
