Oftentimes that still does not make it right to just "steal" images to use, even if you give credit, you still did not have permission in the first place.

I think what she means is that under some peoples signatures is written -

'thanks *whoever* for the great sig'

- or something similar - and perhaps to PM the people so named and ask them to make a signature.

Why would you want to steal images to have a signature made? Isn't the point to show off your OWN pets? My statement was very simple- your comment is what is confusing.

Your original statement WAS confusing.. and yes the point is to show off your own pets, but they won't necessarily take images of pets to use, they also use backgrounds etc that they may not necessarily have permission to use. And yes sometimes they DO take images of other pets or dogs from the internet to use without permission. It has happened before obviously or Karen would not have made an announcement about it. And no need to get snippy if it is just a matter of miscommunication or misunderstanding.

Karen - perhaps there could be a forum just for signature requests? like the forum for introductions? That would keep all the related requests together. I know you cant do this for every topic, but "graphics" seems like a topic that would work well on its own.
PS- maybe you could just move all the existing siggy threads over to it?
