Boy the list of food is getting really long!!! Would you guys rahter have another side (like a green or spinach salad), or should I add to the dessert with a pie something like that? Other suggestions?

Looking forward to meeting everyone. Managed to get the entire day off .
I don't know how to add to the list of things people are bringing. I plan to bring a noodle casserole my mom always makes. Hopefully it will be as good as hers. At least it has stopped raining here in Findlay.

Not entirely sure about the hoomins but in Anna's thread there should be a doggie count.
Keegan and I will be there but it will be a bit later in the day b/c I don't get off work until 11am so I am going to nap before coming over. (going in at 11pm the nite before)

I was wondering the same thing. I'm wondering how many bags of ships I'm going to need to bring.

I have about 100 doggie treats, but it seems as if more & more dogs are coming everyday now. Hmmm, wonders if I'll be able to bring more.
Soar high & free my sweet fur angels. I love you Nanook & Raustyk... forever & ever.

I think the human count was somewhere between 30 and 40. But remember that everyone's bringing something, so you don't need to bring enough for absolutely everyone, or we'll have lots of leftovers.

Small, humble request - can folks who are making stuff to bring just bring - or tape to the container - an ingredient list? I have oddball food allergies (animal and vegetable and fruit and other), so need ingredient lists before I can eat anything.

Sounds fair enough to me. On that note, why don't we just do a recipe exchange while we're at it!?

    Take a Chill Pill, Folks!!

No one Bringer of Food needs to feel obligated to have a serving of their Stuff
    for EVERYone in attendance ...

If we get 20 Dishes or items brought in - it's a bit unrealistic to think that
EVERYONE is going to "sample" all 20 Dishes!
I've *tried* - ya just can't EAT that much - even if you Stay for Dinner!

If each Cook brings enough Stuff to serve 6-10 people - we should have enough food
for a week! (We always seem to have a LOT more than we can possibly eat!)

And a "few" chips go a long way ... I hate to fill up on Chips - no matter HOW tastey -
and let home-made stuff go un-sampled due to a lack of "room"!

    Things not mentioned:
Lasagna or Spaghetti dishes - good hot or cold - and we have elecrtical outlets.
    Tossed Salads
    Cheese Plate

    Remember - Keep it SIMPLE - it's a PICNIC - not a formal dinner!!

Same advice for the Dawggie Treats - everyone who comes brings a Box, Bag, or Pouch
to share with da Mutts ... 40 or 50 Mutts can only consume so many Treats!
YOU don't need to try to feed each Mutt a complete meal!

    My guess is we'll see 30 - 40 2-Leggers;
and have 40- 50 Mutts pass through!

Thank you! Thanks also for the tips on how much to bring. I always bring enough to feed an army.
