    Hey all!!!

I'm sorry that I found this only a week or so before the date!!! Lol, but I'm so looking forward to seeing you all out there. I just started going to the dog park this year because of college and all. My dog's name is Honda, she's a dalmatian. I'm up for bringing anything you guys need! I tried joining earlier but I had to get activated and it took awhile, then I just didn't have time with school and everything. But I'm finally on!! Telling you guys that I will be there! LOL, as it is obvious, my name is Monica. I really hope it doesn't rain because then one side of the dog park turns into a LARGE puddle which the dogs cannot resist going into. Lol I'm so excited!!!

Karen, I hope Miss Hoppy is feeling better real soon.

It's looking like I may not be able to make it either. I'm having car problems. I'm going to see if I can get it in the shop on Monday to see what the problem is, but it isn't looking good for me. Sorry guys

Hmm, I hope it is nothing major for your car! I have been passing everyone's well wishes on to Miss Hoppy.

Maybe someone coming from out-of-state could pick you up on the way through?

WELCOME, Monica and Honda, to both Pet Talk and the Sunday / Monday Gathurin!

Since we have Sooooo Much food already promised for Sunday ...
we can't possibly eat everything - even if we bring all the leftovers back for
Day 2 on Monday. ~~~ Should we maybe suggest that anyone who hasn't signed up
for a food item just SKIP IT (the food) and instead drop a couple bucks into the "Donation Can"
to pay for the Pavilion? Any "extra $$$" in the Can can go towards the
new Pet Talk Memorial Trees inside the Park.

Just a thought ... I hate to have folks *phuss* with nice food dishes and then be
upset because no one had room to try them all.

    JUMP IN with your thoughts.

    Money

Yes, I like the new trees, they're a nice addition. I can definitely bring a couple bucks. Who would I give it to?

There will be a "Donation Can" on one of the tables under the Pavilion.

    Spotters

Oh my goodness, I absolutely love dalmatians. They're so sweet. Honda's a bit old, she's ten. And I have noticed her just recently not being able to move as well, but she's still got a little spunk in her. Lol :-D I'm excited to meet you all. Yay I'll be sure to have some cash on me too for the tin. Lol I don't usually carry it.

Karen, I'm so sorry Miss Hoppy's not feeling her best. I'm sure with you 2 taking care of her she'll be feeling better soon!
    You'll be missed!

I'll be sure to get a group photo together!
You can PM me the recipe. I'll try my best to get them made for the picnic!
I'm going to be camping this entire weekend, and have lots to get together this week, but I'll sure try to make time to whip up a batch of your cookies!

Will do! Like I said, they keep really well, so you can make them any time, and they'll be fine for Sunday!

I just had to go back to this post and add, for those who didn't see it last year that Miss Sierra, who refused many "common" dog treats, delicately accepted and munched down one of these cookies, to her Mom's surprise!
