BOOMER is on AMERICAN soil and home with Grandma and Grandpa? I had to hurry up and check to see if we had any news! How is he? How did he make they trip? Is he OK? Poor baby, if only they understood all the things we do for them and how lucky he is that he now has a WONDERFUL home with Grandma and Grandpa. He will feel so much better when his Meowmie and baby gets there..... THEN he will understand!

Sorry!!! I couldn't stay awake that late last night to follow Boomer's travels, but I am soooooooo happy to hear that he has arrived and is now home and well. He seems to be adjusting quite well after that adventure. Only a couple of minutes under the bed, I think that is remarkable!! Anyway,

    WELCOME HOME BOOMER!!!!

Can't wait to see more pictures. Everyone outside the door seemed anxious to meet him. Hope the meetings go well!!

Thanks so much kittycats_delight for the beautiful siggy and avatar of my kids!

    What a relief

I tried posting last night and what I posted, posted this morning, after Boomer had already landed!

It is so nice to hear that this story has such a happy ending! Boomer made it. 32 hours in a crate. I am impressed.

Welcome to the USA Boomer - you will be treated like gold!

    God morning Boomer!

It is morning - sure was a short night

This morning I took my coffee and a book and went in to just sit awhile with Boomer...talking to him. He was under the bassinet but I could see that he had come out because his water was spilled That made me smile!!
Hi GrandMeowmie - I think I remember you...

I held out one of his favorite furry mice - he put out a paw...

about half hour later and he ventured out to explore a bit...

hmmm....looks familiar! he did not use any litterbox yet though

    more coming...

here GranMeowmie...I will *allow* you to give me scritches - OK?

yeah!! THAT feels good right there!

    what is out there?

a window hammock!! (I lifted him to it)

nice view! I could get to liking this place I think...BIRDS!!! hmmm....they sure are small birds here...

back under the bassinet - feels safe under here. We won't force anything sweetie!! He still is a bit scared but doing well for the first morning I think!!

...and then took himself a nice bath! Good sign I think.

I think I'll just leave him be now. He knows where everything in the room is now. I took his crate out into the living room so the other sirrah kitties can sniff it. Robbie is inside!

Enjoy!.....and thank you again for sharing our adventure. You all made it fun and less stressful for us!

You all aren't going to believe this, but I had to go in for an outpatient procedure this morning and when they put me to sleep, all I dreamed about was this email thread and Boomer!

Boomer, did you sleep well last night? How about Grandmeomie and Grandpaw???

Oh I'm so glad he's here safely! It's amazing how many of us followed this entire trip, I think we ALL should get frequent flier miles for this! He looks as if he's settling in nicely.

    What wonderful news!!!

Thank you, Debbie and Dennis, for making this possible. Don't you know that Missy's return home will be made so much easier as a result of Boomer being there? I think my parents would have done the same thing for me.

    Enjoy your day, Boomer!!!

Hey, Good Morning Boomer & family!
So the "Travelin' Tabby" seems to be over the long ride and ready for the quiet life. Glad to see he's coming out for scratches and to do some exploring. All good signs

Such an adventure....you all must be tired - but HAPPY!

Congratulations on a successful international feline flight!

It's good to see Boomer safe and sound after his very long travel ordeal. Coming out and exploring is definitely a good sign.
