I didn't really think they were cryptic but yes that's it.
He's made a couple trips to the bathroom - but that's it!

Best wishes to a speedy recovery for your Dad, Staci. I love to hear about good success stories.

Tell him to PM me with any questions.

Thanks Terri - but this is round two for him as well. He had the first (left) knee done in 91, then a revision on the left in 04, and this one is his right one. So he knows what to expect, I think this one will go smoother b/c in 91 he had a crushing injury and couldn't move it for 12 weeks prior to surgery and that really set him back.
hope all is well with you and the puppers!

A request please, for little Kyron Horman. He's the 7 year old Portland boy that went missing over a month ago from his school. His stepmom is apparently crazy and most likely was the culprit in his abduction, .. and no one knows where he is or if he's even still alive at this point.

We've been rivited here in as this sad story takes bizarre twists almost every day - but still no Kyron.

(btw - I don't want to take away from this prayer thread - if people want to talk about her they should start a thread in the doghouse instead).

    thanks

    Hi Rizzy,
Tonight I'm asking prayers for my Pastor. Pastor Alice is a 24-7 Pastor who is always there and ready to help anyone day or night. Unfortunately, there are some health issues. Over the Fourth of July she was admitted to the hospital when a wound on her leg became infected. Two days after being released to go home the ambulance had to be called. Pastor Alice was readmitted with a dislocated hip. When I talked to her husband, he said they have no idea of how this happened. With asthma and a history of 2 heart attacks this can be tricky.

Ours is a small congregation and Pastor Alice is loved by all of us. We have all joined forces to decide who can do what to ease Pastor's burden and keep our church running during her recovery.

Please join us in prayer for Pastor's swift and complete recovery.

I would like prayers for my friend Adeline, her husband and new baby Aiden. (She is my friend that has gertie the poodle, Gus the Magic poodle that passed away a few years ago http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthre...ght=Gus&page=2 ) She had to be on blood thinners during her pregnancy due to a clotting disorder and she had her baby about 3 weeks early. He has been breathing too fast and having some issues. He was transferred to Children's hospital today b/c of a heart issue. Please keep them in your prayers that he gets to come home soon.

A little thought to all the people that need it.

Especially the 99ers who have run out of their unemployment benefits and will fall on hard times until either the economy gets better or the government sees fit to 'toss them a small bone'.

    God bless them all.

All is well, Staci. I hope you are doing great too. I also hope your Dad is doing fantastic.

I don't come here often enough. I'm sending out thoughts and prayers to everyone that needs them.

Hi guys I am in the hospital and could use some PT prayers so I can get better quick and go home!
I still have to take my finals too, missed those last week because I'm sick.

He starts a second round of chemotherapy on Monday, Dec. 14 with a second-line drug, Avastin (every two weeks).

Update. George has been in hospice care for about a month or so and he died at home yesterday morning. Several family members were present- his wife, son, brother and sister-in-law. It's been almost a year since his diagnosis. He was the person who gave me my final confirmation exam in junior high, and he gave it to me in a way that made me really think about all I had learned in confirmation classes and how to apply it to my life. Not just going through the motions of confirmation as an age 13 ritual. I am sad but also a little bit relieved because he had been having really bad headaches the past several days.
