Every time I check this thread, my heart is in my throat looking for the next update. I'm so very glad to see things looking more hopeful. Samantha continues to be in my prayers.

I was at the hospital this morning for a few minutes. Sam looks better, which is very relative to what she looked like at the worst. She is still off of the BP medicene. She might be slightly less swollen in the face. Sadly, her limbs just don't look so good. While no one is saying anything for sure, it just doesn't look promising. While I am ever so thankful Sammy is alive today, I would still like to pray that God spares her limbs, somehow, someway.

There is talk about a CAT scan later this week, assuming she remains stable. This will give some insight into potential brain damage.

This is just so unfair. So, so unfair.
