This one has available rooms and we can get a small (about $5) discount if we give a 21 day advance booking. Avgs to about $54.00 per night (before taxes and without pet fees*).

Super 8 Motel
East Albq
450 Paisano Street
I have stayed at this one and it's a nice place (or was--hopefully still is). The best rate I can get is $57.50 per night (before taxes and without pet fees*).

*According to the site Amy posted ( Click Here to See It ), the Holiday Inn charges $25.00 per stay (doesn't say if it's per pet). The Super 8 charges $5.00 per day (doesn't say if it's per pet).

I told them we would be traveling with just the dog b/c I'm not 100% sure about taking K'Cee yet. (FYI It's $5 per night per animal.)

FOR ANYONE ELSE BOOKING HERE:
Ask him to check the **coupon book** for the best price. (He quoted me 45.88 per night; that's for a non-smoking room w/ dbl beds. It's even cheaper if you have AAA.)

Actually, I'm not sure we have *any* plans. lol Perhaps we should begin to form some. Do you guys want to mosey around the venders (there's tons!) and meet some of the horses the morning of the show then come back that night? Stick around all day?

Anytime is good for me, Aly. If possible, I would like to stick around long enough to make sure those that need a ride to the airport have one.

Do you know if you'll be able to leave on Thursday? If you can, maybe I can arrange to leave Friday morning/afternoon.

I can leave on Thursday pretty easily. I was hoping to be back home by Sunday night but I'm going to see if I could miss school on Monday also. The idea of driving across the state at night by myself scares me, so I might just drive halfway on Sunday, then continue on home Monday morning.

If we get there earlier on Friday, we can snoop around the fairgrounds with whoever else is there, then maybe all eat dinner together? The only problem with that is I don't want to leave Reecie alone in the hotel room.

Amy - are you definately not coming?

If Amy's not coming, should I just leave Reece at home?

If the weather is nice, and folks want, perhaps we should take a ride up the tram? its the worlds longest (or highest, i always forget which) and the views from the top of the mountain are amazing...
