    Keeping Cozy,Flipped Over

Fritz keeping his head warm this morning under the pillow and in my chair later on flipped over on his back.Fritz did something Friday that amazed Mom and I .Mom has been washing all the blankets Taffy slept on,hair on them and Mom was washing the one on the little couch,i was upstairs vacuuming ,she told me after I finished that Fritz was sitting up and begging then scratching at the couch wanted the blanket back on,then got up and was looking around the couch,he ended up under the couch to snooze where he stayed until 10,when he had to go out then a drink,to my chair in the living room and a few minutes later to the bedroom tight against Mom,even flipped over on his back. This morning had his head tucked under the pillow. He cuddled in Mom's chair keeping Mom warm, then he went to the window and cuddled with me,he is now up cuddled with Mom again. We are going to Boston Pizza for supper to use the 2 coupons I have for individual pizzas and drinks.Marlene took taffy to the vets, got more pills, hope these help, she didn't get up during the night which was a relief.May get a inch or two of snow or maybe up to 4 depends who you believe.
thanks very much devon. I have been boo'd.

    Relaxing Time

Fritz his head poking out o the couch before going to bed last night and this morning after i came in from doing snow flipped over in the chair,he is curled up there now.I stayed home again from church, tired from doing snow and I have a little cold ,don't want to give it to anybody.Got a little snow, anywhere from 1 to maybe three, hard to tell,it drifted somewhat, really windy out there also.Fritz now wants the water dish held so he can drink from it,won't drink from it while it sits on the coffee table, maybe afraid of it moving. He had his bones, begging for them, went out in the snow, likes to sit on the patio. We went to Boston Pizza ,I had a Pepperoni Pizza,Mom a Bacon Double Cheeseburger,8 inch individual pizzas,we each had a Pepsi with it,using the coupons i won at hockey, had a Caesar salad between ,also yam fries with Chipotle sauce, very good. With out Coupons, dinner would have cost $35.34 but with them, only $12.18.WEe took Fritz home some Pepperoni from my pizza,he had some of his food before we went and before bed.he had a good sleep, cuddled with mom, and after getting up cuddled with her and then, had his buried in the comforter this morning. to the chair where he got all relaxed.Taffy had a pretty good night, she wears a cone so can't scratch at herself, go Marlene up at 6 this morning, not as bad when she was here, hope the pills work this time.
thanks very much devon. I have been boo'd.

Fritz after supper Sunday afternoon on the chair with his Monkey.Twice yesterday brought it down here to play with me,then he carts it back upstairs. We had a Hot Chicken sandwich for supper.Mom had cooked a chicken breast, put some in between two pieces of bread and pour gravy over it,it was good,Fritz had some, had a little of his own before, but wanted this as it had meat.Tomorrow is Pancake Tuesday,Shrove Tuesday is the official name and we are having Pancakes for supper.Last night ,he had the Monkey down here wasn't playing with it,I put it on the coffee table,he starts growling a bit and got on the coffee table, was barking and growling, knocking it off,he didn't want to share the table with it,got a kick out of that.We had some tarts as Raisin a snack,he had some from us,had his water,he won't drink from the dish unless i hold it,won't touch if it is by itself, has done this ever since Taffy was here for the week.He slept with Mom,then woke up at quarter to 6 barking at the back door,he needed out then took him back to bed and at 10 to 7 was at the door again to go out, praised him for being a good boy and asking to go out.He then had toast and cereal from me,cuddled with me in the chair then the window. The Police K9 unit was around today, they were training a dog to find people.First the K9 van came and a officer took off down the street and he hid somewhere, then another truck come with the dog and its handler,to track it ,he followed the route the officer had taken and i assumed he found him,Fritz didn't like the dog or the police around,he barked at them, also at kids wearing backpacks and lady pushing a stroller.Fritz stayed down here with me when Mom was cleaning out under the sink,i helped a little with that and then cleaned the kitchen floor,he would be in the way up there.Marlene is going to call the vets and get some cream for where Taffy was scratching herself.
thanks very much devon. I have been boo'd.

Look at that widdle spooted bewwy. Awww!!! Fritz, you know I love those upside down pictures. You're so cute in all your pictures. Your Boston Pizza sounds good, Barry. What a great thing coupons are.
I loved the story about the K-9 unit coming out. That's so cool. What a great community you live in there in Bowmanville. Too bad Fritz didn't like them but I can imagine he wouldn't.
Poor Taffy. My daughter's dog has alot of itching problems too. He has been on steroids a few times because it was so bad. Does Marlene put a little olive oil in her food? My daughter found out that it was mostly stress with her dog. He has seperation anxiety so bad, he itched like crazy when she was gone. Now, he's alot better because she's able to spend more time with him, they moved out of Florida(dogs get hotspots, etc. here alot), and, he loves her roommate that takes care of him while she's gone. He's hardly stressed much anymore.
I hope Taffy gets some relief soon because it's diffcult for Taffy and everybody else.

    cuddlynwarm

Fritz cuddly and warm to day in Mom's chair. As usual now,he wants his dish held while drinking,he cuddled with Mom last night then under the couch and hand was part way out, ready to go up to bed when the TV and computer went off.He went right to bed after going out, right up to Mom.Kept mom warm in her chair, then went to mine when I got up to come down here.He has just been outside again, doesn't stay out long, was 9 degrees when I last checked.Lately in Toronto, they have had a problem with Coyotes, they jump fences and grab cats and dogs,on the weekend, one jumped a fence and grabbed a 6 year old female Chihuahua Zoe and made off with it.They been spotted all over the Toronto area, even on a busy highway, needless to say dogs and cats and even kids will stay in the house now.

There's my fluffy boy!! You look like you just left the groomer, Fritzie!!! Pets and kisses to you.

Barry, the coyote story is disturbing. I can't imagine having to go through something so terrifying. I hope the people of Toronto can combat this problem soon.

Fritz flipped over on mom's bed while she went to gift shop and just before bed flipped over on Mom's lap just before going up to bed.Mom says the word bed and off he goes,he is starts fidgeting after 9 every night. It was Pancake Tuesday yesterday so we had Pancakes for supper,Fritz had some, had two leftover so had them for breakfast,Fritz right next to me tail going and talking wanting some which he got,After cleaning my plate, begged to sit in the chair with me,did that a few minutes then got warm and went to the window where he started barking at people for some reason.Had is usual play after supper with the Monkey.Last night spent most of the time under the couch, had some water and bones fist then went under and just before going up went to Mom.Tonight ,Mom goes to play cards,Fritz most likely will be in the window, try to keep him down her but he just bed to go u so let him where he will bark for a while then go to Mom's bedroom and wait for her to come home ,probably around 11p.m.

Fritz flipped over on Mom's bed last night,in one he is stretching his legs to get comfy. Mom had gone to play cards,he was still down here, ,he was stretched out on the carpet in the barroom whining ,wanted so let him up and he went to the window barked there, then to Mom's bedroom to wait for her and he barked there also.He stayed there when Mom come home around 11.He cuddled close to her to start then move and had his head under the pillow.he goes out first thing after getting up,comes to the living room s he can see us first then out he goes out, then had cereal and toast.I had to scrape off a bit of snow from last night, when I come in,put my hat and mitts down,he grabbed the hat and under the table he went with to use as a pillow, got some pictures that will put up later.I just checked on him,he still has the hat as a pillow, will stay with it until one of us has some food and he will move for that.

    Hat Grabber

Fritz Thursday morning using my hat as a pillow. He had grabbed it after I came in from shoveling a little snow.he had his head on it for 2 hours and when I got my lunch he came out and he had a Bologna sandwich with me.Had Yam Fries and Kraft dinner for supper,he had some of it,had ate his own before that. After supper ,his usual play with the Monkey. At night he wants water, but when he drinks it from the table,I have to hold it,did it twice. He cuddled with Mom in her chair twice and was under the couch.he goes to the window first then goes to Mom's bedroom. At 10 after 2 this morning,I heard a couple of barks, thought I was dreaming,I was having a great sleep,go out and there is Fritz at the back door ,he needed to go out and then took him back to bed with Mom,he looks at Mom,Mom didn't hear him get up,told he was a good boy for letting me know he needed out.this morning, cuddled with me in the chair then the window, now on Mom's bed,has not been out since getting up,Mom gone to get hair done.Getting a fair bit of rain half an inch then cooling down by tonight 5 degrees fahrenheit, right now around 41-42.Now he is flipped over on his back paws in the air.
thanks very much devon. I have been boo'd.
