    What a sweet face!

This is starting to sound like what happened to my Preacher last fall. He suddenly got very sick--stopped eating, throwing up, dark, tarry stools. He spent close to a week at the vet. He was so dehydrated that his kidneys were shutting down. He was on an IV to rehydrate him and tons of anti-biotics. It took about ten days for him to recover, but then he was back to normal, like nothing was ever wrong. We never figured out what caused the illness in the first place.

Well, this time I have happy tears. One look at that sweet face and that was all it took. I'm so relieved. I hope he continues to do well and is tucked in his own bed tomorrow night for a great night's sleep. Good boy, Angus! We knew you could do it. He's still got my angels until he doesn't need them any more.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Anna that's a million dollar smile! I'm so glad he's feeling better. What has the vet said about the mass in his abdomen? Is it still there? What are his/her thoughts on that?

As you can see I'm still concerned and unless I missed it, I didn't see anything further about that scary sounding mass.

My big Daddy Dog Badger, a few years ago, was with the WhiteCoats for 10 days with some unidentified "e-coli" infection and vet kept saying "IF" he comes home. Well Whitecoats pulled him through, ladies and gents at the hospital fell in love & fought over brushing him. To make this short.. he is sleeping now under my feet at the 'puter and went to PA with Jenny & me for a PT Meeting and after that is still the best darn DaddyDog in the world! YOU GO ANGUS. Please make this a happy ending for all of us that love you sooo much.
