it would be great if he is good around cats, my dog Buster and my cat Miagi are the best of friends but I don't know about a kitten being the right choice for you..maybe he needs a chihuahua friend of the different gender and is he neutered? I suggest if you get a girl buddy that she be spayed..that is just my 2 cents I bet some other great people on here will have better advice to give you and welcome to pet talk
