most petstore employees dont know that syrians cannot be housed together. i work at a petstore and before i came they used to sell syrian hamsters in pairs to many people... now i have taught alot of the employees that they are strictly solitary animals and they will fight to the death when sexually mature....

teddy bear hamsters, panda bear hamstera, black bear hamsters, regual hamsters are all the syrian breed of hamster . they were givin fancy names to make more money....
