I totally understand the 6 month thing, but, yeah, maybe you should set it by how many posts the person has made and/or their most recent post.?
The deadline to sign up isn't until February 12th, so you are totally fine. And no you don't have to wait until January 29 to send in the questionnaire or anything. You should sign up, it's lots of fun!

It's hard to decide what to do with the guidelines, believe me. We're trying to figure out how to do it fairly. There's no way we can prevent all problems, but maybe this will prevent some.

p.s. it's not just 6 months, it's being an active member for that amount of time...so post counts do weigh in as well
