Still have not received, but I'm not overly worried.

But if whoever had my name checks this thread, I'm going to be out of town from Sat - Thursday. I'll have my parents call me if it arrives, but the opening and picture taking will have to wait.

I just sent mine today! Of course, the day before the deadline. . .

UPS charged me $19.48 . . shipping is insane. .

Holy crap, thats a LOT. I sent mine regular mail, and it cost 10.60 + 1.00 insurance, equaling a grand total of 12.95. The post office lady asked if I wanted to send it faster, and she said it cost 22.00 something... + tax. I didn't even have that much with me!

Hanson, I will never forget you, i miss you so, and you will always be in my heart! I will miss your farting, sneezing, barking, growling, and just you! here is a poem for you.....

I Didn't Get a Chance to Say Goodbye

I didn't get a chance to say goodbye
To you, to tell you that I loved you, to say
What now must be one long, unbroken cry
Of pain, now that at last you've gone away.
I cannot tell you what a joy it was
To be the one to tend you in your need.
The burden was a gift, for giving does
Not burden one who loves, though loving bleed.
I wish I could have been with you when you,
Perhaps aware, perhaps not, turned towards death
Alone, with no one there to wonder to,
To share your fear, your hand, your one last breath.
    I wish, I wish, I wish . . . but it is done,
And now I must surrender what is gone.
    I LOVE YOU HANSON

I have not received mine either, but really, that doesn't bother me one bit.

The main thing is that my recipient got hers...and that's all that matters. I don't remember how much it cost me to mail mine...it's only once a year and Pet Talkers are very "speshul." They are worth it.

Kayann, can we have another one soon? I know some
people are flat broke after the last one but I just returned to Pet Talk recently and I would love to participate in the next one...

Did you do this last one like "secret Santa" so you didn't know who was sending the present?

I haven't sent mine yet.. I'll be sending it today before I get to work. The last time I sent a package, it came up to $17 for shipping (non-insured and it took a week or so). The package I'm about to ship is even heavier... yikes.

I'm not usually this late on things!

I have had my stuff for a while, was hoping to find something else to add, but haven't. Now that the deadline is up ... I will try to get it mailed in the next day or so! Sorry!!!
