OMG, MOFF, your mention of veggie soup reminded me....eeewww...

Just this last weekend I made some of my infamous creamy veggie soup, the one I had posted the recipe for awhile back. Well, Terry wanted me to make it thicker, so I did! The first night it was ok, but the second night...after being in the refrigerator.....it was just gross! It was sooo think we couldn't hardly put the spoon through it! I started to warm it up, knowing it would get runnier as it warmed. When I uncovered it the first time it was like hot lava bubbling up or something! It was like jello and it wiggled when the bubbles came up through it! It was soooo gross, but we both laughed so hard....then threw it down the garbage disposal. After seeing that neither one of us could bring ourselves to eat it. He said "Don't they make paste out of flour and water?" I said "yes, not to mention the fat from the butter and cheese...." and it was down the drain before we could think twice. Such a waste, but next time I won't make it quite so thick.
