This is very interesting because all of my boys have also been very active lately. I just thought it was due to the cooler weather that we've been having.![]()
I'm not sure if cats go through menopause but when I was growing up, we had a female cat named Puff and the older she got the moodier she got. She could be a sweetheart one minute and real bitey and fiesty the next minute. Maybe it was due to PMS.![]()
I've also noticed that about a week before the full moon, all of my cats, especially Sunny, will be bouncing off the walls and very active at night. They have nightly cat parties.The night of the full moon though, they all seem very relaxed and tranquil. I would think that they'd be the most active during the full moon but they aren't.
