My RB cat Sara was the only one of my pets to have fleas. It was SO bad. I gave her a flea bath every day, and she had a flea collar as well (this was back when I was like 10 -- I didn't know about things like Advantage). Eventually the fleas got on me, and I had fleas for a couple weeks. You can kill them by squishign them. You have to grind them between your fingers which is gross.

Luckily, Kelowna is not really a flea area. But last year was pretty bad for alot of pet owners because of the amount of people bringing their pets over from Vancouver, Vancouver being one of the flea problem areas of BC.
