Weeeelll, since you asked, night times were a little interesting. Military housing is a little on the small side. Their house has two bedrooms - one for Jasmine and one for mom and dad. There is one small bathroom that has a door into their room and into the small hallway between the bedrooms.
Then there is the living room and dining room and the small kitchen. Since they have so much dog stuff and baby stuff, they do not have a dining room table anymore. The dining room had the kennels in them and the computer desk but with Christmas and the tree and presents the kennels got stacked in the front door entrance. After the tree was taken down, Jasmine's new toys got the kennel space and I think the kennels are still stacked in the entranceway which they do not use anyway.
In the small living room, is a large couch, a foton and an oversized chair with huge ottoman. Carl slept on the couch with Taggert at his feet, I slept on the foton with Snoopy and Pippi. Dakota and Destiny shared to oversized chair and ottoman and Sierra likes her kennel to sleep in. Of course, it rarely stayed that way all night. Destiny laid next to me on the very edge of the foton sometimes and Pippi slept with Carl. Dakiota would try to steal Taggert's spot. Some nights when Jasmine was fussy with her teeth, Pippi had to stay in the top kennel because she did like the baby moving around at night.
As far as settling down, they ran so much outside during the day (thank God for no rain while we were there) that when lights went out, so did they. Don't know that I would want to do that for much more than the 9 nights but it wasn't so bad - after all the perk of seeing Jasmine was worth just about anything!
