This kitty, who was named Angel, is in a cage until she is just a little bit more trusting. Seems like it won't take very long at all. She is beautiful!!
A little more on her conditions.....
One of her nasal passages is blocked towards the top inside of the nostril. Possibly a membrane thickening from an untreated URI while she was in the colony. The vet says even though it is possible to scope it, it will most likely return. AND, she has heart arythmia (sp?). Her little heart beats abnormally.They MAY be able to ultrasound the heart, but they believe it to be genetic which means not a whole lot of hope for treatment. (this is all 2nd heand, I have not talked to a vet myself).
But attached is her first picture, soon to be followed by more as she gets more confident.
