I've read about all of the snow that fell on CNN's website. I'm so jealous. Its been cold here and we have a bare skiff of snow but for the most part it's just brown and dead looking here. I'm in Western Canada for petes sake, we are supposed to have a white Christmas!! They say we can expect blowing snow and high wind chills for Boxing Day (Dec 26).

Stay with us Richard....stay with us.......I think you are thinking of another thread..... I thought the only snow you would get comes in a spray can at the local five and dime.

No snow here yet on the Wet Coast of BC. Last year we had maybe a week of snow all Winter long at different intervals. The most we ever get is about 5-10 cms (oh dear, there I go again talking in Canuck language)....I mean about 4 inches. Very rarely do we get any more than 6-8 inches.

I remember when I was a kid we used to get alot more snow. Yeah for global warming.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

13 inches. It snowed and Snowed and snowed! Then over that it was Ice! It was really slippery when we went out to sled ride!

We've got about three or four inches of snow with an inch of ice on top thanks to it raining all night! Just flurries now. Oh and now we have lake front property thanks to the rain!

Wow...wow...WOW!!! Look at all that SNOW!!!!! WOW!!!!!!! I want some! Boo hoo hoo! Of course we're snow-less around here. I 'love' snow, but I'm not sure I would want to have all that snow to shovel up. Maybe we're better off just having snow in the mountains.

Rain. Rain by the buckets. Drownpouring rain - 4 inches of standing water in parking lots rain. Soaked to the skin through three layers of clothing rain. Being glad to be driving the CRV becuase the puddles on the roads were big enough to drown our Corrola. Fifty degrees, big winds, then rain rain rain and rain and it's - yup - raining still. Pout! I want my snow! (I know, I should be more generous and be happy that people who almost never get snow even got snow.) Sigh.

    Did I mention it's raining?
