Here's my crew.

My Katie is 13 years old. I adopted her from a foster home when she was 11 months old.


Mooky who is 2.5 years old. We got him from a friend who's cat had kittens. He is a real daddy's boy.


Chipper is 1.7 years old. I couldn't help it, but I rescued him out of a pet shop when he was 10 weeks old. He is my special boy.


Poppy is 5 months old. I rescued him out of the laneway when he was 7 weeks old.

What a Great thread!!!

This is my handsome boy, Remus. I adopted him from the shelter in June 2004 and he's been my cuddlebug ever since!! He was about 6-7 months old when I got him. At the shelter, I was just about to leave when I heard a crash from one of the cages. This silly boy tripped over his water dish (and fell in) just to see me. He looked up at me with this look of "Youre here to take me home, right?" How could I say no?!



This is my princess, Spook (aka Spooky or Spookums). She is a daddys girl to the core. She adores Remus and Remus adores her. They didn't even hiss at each other when they first met! I found Spook about a month ago yowling at my friends door. Someone threw her out in the snow!! I couldn't say no to her either...

This is Angel, she's a 5/6 year old female Maine Coon mix.



This is Dillian, he's a 4/5 year old Tabby boy.



Both were adopted from Animal Shelters/Rescues when they were kittens.

My princess, Lexie, here she is sitting above me in the computer room, which is upstairs, she has a great view of everything, its just a two seater old couch turned upside down and it is her favourite spot,she often sleeps here whilst I am on the computer, she is turning 3 years old in a few months, she is a real lovebug, but rather timid and skittish, but very sweet, adopted her at nine months old from a shelter, she had given birth to a litter of kittens, which sadly all died and she nearly did not make it herself, she is the best kitty I have ever owned.

My old fella Ash, who was a stray who turned up on our doorstep, my daughter brought him to me, and named him Ash after a character on pokemon, just happens he is grey too, he is a cat with real cattitude, my jekyll and hyde natured kitty, but I love him to bits all the same, he was around five years old when he came and he will be turning 11 next year, he can be quite scarey at times, but he has real character and smoochy when he wants.

Here's Vivi - she's about 6 years old and came from a neighbor's litter. She's our "Big Cat" and weighs about 20 lbs.

Julie was adopted when she was about 4 months old (we think). She has been with us for about a year and a half.

Adopted since we couldn't decide which one to keep (we were only looking for one cat, and ended up with three ). (But we only have two now... TiJay, their brother, got hit by a car.. )

Saphirah was my husband's cat before we married. She is very much a daddy's girl and is queen of the household. She is 5 years old.


Chloe was adopted from the Cobb County, GA animal shelter when she was about 10 months old. She is now 4 years old. Chloe is a real love-bug and quite a clown. She loves to greet visitors to our house, especially those who aren't all that fond of cats.


Samson was a stray who moved into the crawlspace under our house. We are pretty certain he was dumped by someone. He was already neutered when he found us. At the time, he was rather scrawny and his fur was dull and somewhat matted. We have had him for 2 years in January, and he has come a long way.
