At least if he was in prison he'd be suffering all the time not just the days before the death penalty... I do think he should be killed, but they should scheduale it like a year away so he can dread it every min of everyday
I think they should schedule it yearly. And every year after he has his last meal, says his goodbyes, gets loaded up in the chair, gets his final rights or whatever....they can say, "Oh, something came up! We'll try this again later." Then let him stress about it for another year.
