Purrley, this is just so annoying!! I can't believe that these people don't have anything better to do than to freakin' bug you about your cats!! It's bad enough that you had to give up Tess after all the hard work you put into training her, not to mention the love and bond you had with her. I'm glad that you're going to stand up to these stubborn people!! I'm glad to know that you are looking for different housing options also. I'm sure they wouldn't want to lose a tennant...and it would be even better if you could get some folks in the same complex as you to band together on this matter. Hang in there!!
